Hellfire Guard

DISCLAIMER: This mod was created with High/Ultra unit detail in mind.
To get the best visual outcome and to enjoy this mod to the fullest I STRONGLY suggest you to set your unit detail to Ultra or, if you can't afford that, at very least to High.

This mod adds a plethora of new late game/elite units for the Chaos roster which represent an upgrade from the standard chosen units.



Respectively:
-Hellfire Guard
-Hellfire Guard (Halberds)
-Hellfire Guard (Great Weapons)
-Hellfire Guard (Champions)
-Hellfire Guard (Exalted Champions)
-Hellfire Guard Knights

The idea behind this Is to add élite units extremely loyal to Archaon, or Archaon's chosen if you will.
As such I reduced their unit models and put a cap on all of them.
Disclaimer:It goes without saying but this units are available for ALL the Chaos Lords...so If you are into Roleplay use them with Archaon only.

Ok, presentation over: let's dive into the technical stuff!

*BALANCE*
As always: I tried my best to not make them too broken.
Keep in mind that I have tested them in custom battles only though.
That means that I'm not taking into account Lord's Campaign Bonuses.
Keep also in mind that they are all late game units, so they are supposed to be strong.
Putting all of that aside, they should fit in the Chaos roster nicely without *EndTiming* the Old World in the process (hopefully).
NOTICE: The units' stats screenshot was taken with the unit size setting set to large, so expect more HP and unit models if you are playing on Ultra.

*COMPATIBILITY*

As far as I know this mod works with pretty much everything that do not mess too much with vanilla units.
I'm playing the game with 90+ different mods and everything is working fine!
The mod is NOT save compatible.
If you want the Hellfire Guard in your campaign you'll have to start a new one.
While you can use this along with Ultimate Chaos (with some colour changes though) I advise you to not do that since
this wasn't made with UC balance in mind and lack UC's custom abilities and attributes.
Plus, I do think that UC's roster Is already crowded as It Is now.

When it becomes necessary, and when I can, I will update my stuff, do not worry.

*QA*
-"Will you make an Ultimate Chaos submod from this?"
Short answer: no.
Kinda long answer: You see, when I do make a submod, I usually make It for a mod that I'm currently using.
And sadly, aside from custom battles, I'm not using UC lately.
That's due to increasing compatibility problems I'm experiencing with UC and other mods after the latest UC's update.
Nothing extremely tragic or game breaking but surely annoying problems nonetheless.
I played UC a lot back in the Warhammer 1 days and I loved It and Steelb_l_ade will always have my respect for what He achieved so far, but I also remember that I was attracted by UC mainly for the chance of playing with Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch reskins, everything else was just a cool addition to me.
So yeah, I think It's time for me to say goodbye to UC and find something similar but smaller or try to get in touch with AdoPotato and get his permission to make a smaller mod with his reskins or to just use them for personal use.
