One of the more recognisable nameless ships from the german fleet makes it's way to Space Engineers. The Z23 is a destroyer perfect for short engagement with Carriers and slower Battleships. With it's fairly low profile and high alpha strike, it can dash into engagment with ease. And yes, this is part of the alternate timeline where the Dutch did not give up after a day or two but instead had a competent navy that would capture enemy ships.
The balanced set of Anti-Air emplacements makes this destroyer a perfect escort when engaging larger carriers and their swarms.

I deny any allegations that this was inspired to be done because it's one of the starter ships for Azur Lane
