Urd Class Torpedo Ship

The Urd is a small lightweight torpedo ship designed primarily as a support ship that can function competently on its own as well. The Urd is extremely simplified with basic but functional systems and decent weaponry to deal with almost any style of craft.

The Urd is armed primarily with its many medium HE torpedoes both launched from the multiple deck launchers and embedded torpedo tubes in the bottom of the hull. It also has two small sabot cannons on the front and rear for dealing with small surface ships and assisting with AA. Finally, there is a small SAM missile launcher that is decent against small aircraft as well.

Defensively, the Urd is very simplified, it has a strong radar decoy system, a small sonar decoy system, interceptors and the front and rear cannons also function as CIWS. The Urd also has smoke and heavy armor on vital components.

The Urd's built in weaknesses are it's width primarily and lack of armoring on the torpedo systems (also lack of armor on all weaponry above the deck). The Urd can easily be overwhelmed by larger crafts and shouldn't pose a threat to anything with good defense or anything of any size in the air.

If anyone is interested in submitting a vehicle or structure or building something for my faction please let me know, I'll also gladly take suggestions for ships to use as references or ideas for crafts that would fit in with the rest of the faction. I'm also looking for people to help test out the ships already designed and to provide feedback on potential changes and suggestions along with issues with ships. (on older ships, if steam engines don't work, just message me and I'll update the file)
