EUROPA
The 6th largest moon in the Solar System and 6th closest moon to Jupiter. It also has the smoothest surface of any known solid object in the Solar System. Primarily made of silicate rock, a water-ice crust, and probably an iron–nickel core. Its surface is striated by cracks and streaks, but craters are relatively few. The prominent markings crisscrossing Europa appear to be mainly albedo features that emphasize low topography.
It was discovered in 1610 by Galileo Galilei.


-=] Accuracy vs. Artistic Liberties [=-
I aim to make colors realistic as possible, but specular/normal maps may be incorrect/exaggerated because I don't have real topography data to work with, and because anything shorter than Olympus Mons would barely cast a shadow. I do prefer to err on the side of "subtle", though.
