HTD-36 "Flatback" Heavy Tank Destroyer

Intended to mitigate many of the Lumberback's issues, the Flatback conversion replaces the turreted cannon with a hull mounted casemate, allowing the fitting of a larger 293mm gun with a more potent shell. The design also features a much thicker frontal plate than the original, enabling it to take much more fire while staying in the battle, along with an enhanced suite of optics and a modified naval rangefinder mounted to the roof for a frightening degree of accuracy at range. The Flatback's enormous barrel, required to effectively propel the high calibre rounds, also limits its usage in closer quarters or in hilly terrain, the unwieldy cannon frequently being damage by careless manoeuvres.

This craft is built for World War Neter, and may not be practical for use in the default campaign. That said, it is fully functional and could be refit to be campaign practical.
