E.M.C. Schiaparelli R-03

Schiaparelli R-03 has been built using components from the Modular Space Station Kit (MSSK).

Schiaparelli R-03 is a modest, planet-side, factory-refinery outpost, operating under the management of the Einmann Mining Corporation.

Ores from nearby mines are delivered to the site, and the ores are refined into pure metals via the six max-yield refineries. The metals are then loaded into Intermodal Space-Freight Containers to be carried off-world by LOAR (Lift-Off And Re-entry) shuttles, such as The Zephyrus.

Some of the metals are processed into components, which are used to keep the mines maintained. Anything that can't be manufactured on the surface is requisitioned from the local Orbital Supply Depot (see: Jacob's Ladder).

The outpost is fully self-sufficient and can be maintained with a minimal staff of up-to eight contractors. It has a small solar tower and O₂ farm for life-support, a fully-equipped med-bay, comms tower, power-station (nuclear and hydrogen) and four landing pads.
