描述

This mod replaces the Belcher* enemy with the "Special Infected" Boomer from Left 4 Dead 2.

If you're a fan of both Serious Sam and Left 4 Dead, chances are that one of the first things that came to mind during your first playthrough of SS4 was "huh, this fat guy works pretty similiarly to the Boomers...". At least now you know you're not the only one - and that's why this mod exists!

This mod is purely looks - the health, damage, hitbox and other such stats of the Belcher are unchanged. The mod should be compatible with most of those that change the statistics of the Belcher.
Constructive feedback is most welcomed!

Special thanks to Nitronik for both offering guidance on polishing the Boomer's animations and giving general feedback.
The Boomer, and almost all resources used to make this mod, were created by the folks over at Valve Software. I do not intend to claim ownership nor try to make monetary profits through this mod.

* Officially I'm supposed to say "Emetic Antrhopolyp", but come on! It doesn't roll off the tongue and I bet you didn't even notice I misspelled it.

Hey there - haven't considered it. Didn't think there was that much animo for it. Right now it's unlikely I'll touch the Siberian Mayhem editor for some time, so if you want to take the reins to port this over, I'll give you my permission.

I always thought the boomer concept was a little mean spirited in terms of the model itself

I'm incredibly curious as to who would want to use this as an enemy resource as the mod's entirely cosmetic. I suppose I could go the extra mile and make it mechanically similar to the source material (maybe a horde of Processed goes after you when you get barfed on?), but that was never inside my initial scope. Maybe a resource would be a separate mod, but replacement behaviour is here to stay, because I'm convinced most people will never see it in action otherwise.

THROWIN' AN UPDATE!
Mostly just toyed around with some parameters to make the Boomer's death look slightly better. You can check the update notes for details.
