Could be one of those times Rivals just crashes on its own, or you could attempt to reinstall the character maybe? Matty doesn't have any crashes on his own that I'm aware of.

Sorry for the trouble regardless though, and if there is one I'll be sure to look into it!

what i like to do is go on to the stage the desk and slam dunk people into the trash can on the right side of the stage

A lot of it is exclusive to the AI unfortunately just due to how it works, but you can at least play as something kinda similar if you hold shield and mash attack at the start lol
(doesnt work against players unless they allow it though)

That's strange. I just double-checked to make sure the link is still valid, but it is, so I'm not sure why it'd crash!
