The Hero's Quest (v1.4.2)

描述
This is "The Hero's Quest", an adventure map set on a Classic, Large World.
Follow the adventures of a brave Terrarian who leaves his hometown of Oak Hills to aid the Terrarian Kingdom in their fight against the Crimson, an evil entity that has been spreading across the land, consuming everything on its path and leaving a trail of blood, chaos and death. You'll have to journey through the gory landscape and face its horrifying monsters, in hopes to reach Watercastle, the King's residence by the sea. Learn more about the crimson menace so that, one day, you might be the one to defeat it. Watch out for secrets!

Now, the map has been completely renewed to match the current version of Terraria!!
If you played this map when it came out, in 1.3.5.3, try this version. The map has undergone cosmetic changes, balancing tweaks, weapon class & wiring reviews, along with the adaptation to the content from 1.4 and beyond.

This map was inspired by Zuazzer's "Crim Fate". Be sure to check out his adventure map ;)

to be entirly honest this is my favriote like game map becuse of how fun it was i highly recomend

@python.946 Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the map so much, and congratulations on getting all the diamonds! As to the landscape decorations, I wish I could improve the map further, but (as I mentioned in my last comment) I haven't been able to update the map for years... I've also been a Calamity developer for a year and a half now, so that keeps me fairly busy.
At least I can now build for Calamity, heheh

I guess you should place Echo coated Lihzard Bricks after Terra Toilet to the East so Players won't go there. I for example have trust issues and I really traveled to the east ocean:steamhappy:

Buildings are great, it's obvious that creator has a knack for building. Khaois would be proud of him. But not enough landscape decorations, especially Crimson looks too boring. The story mode, equipment distribution, trials and the last challenge in the Volcano are cool. Diamonds hunt is nice, too. Found all of them, wasn't too hard. Loved the ending in the Space, it was very creative. This map took me 3 hours and I recommend you to download it.

@NovaUmbreon Are you sure this is a problem with the adventure map? Even if it is, unfortunately I haven't been able to push updates for several years, and I'm not sure why...

@Dylicious you can close the trap doors leading up (well, down) to the arena.

There's a part where you have to jump off a rope onto a suspended slope block. Is this pixel perfect parkour?? I've tried for like an hour and it's so difficult, I haven't gotten it a single time. The parkour wasn't this difficult before. I've been trying so hard but I don't know if I'm even doing the right thing, did I miss something? I can't complete the map unless I cheat and place a block.
