Behold, the next greatest thing since magazine-muskets! The Berdan II! This was a rifle developed by an American fellow by the name of Hiram Berdan, who commanded a group of sharpshooters during the War of Southern Aggression; he also dabbled in gunsmithing as you can tell. The rifle was popularly utilized by the Imperial Russian Army during the Russo-Turkish War of the 1870s, and was the standard service rifle of the Russian Empire until the adoption of the 1891 Mosin Nagant. The rifle would see use in various other countries, including Ethiopia where you can find pitted out and rusty versions for sale at exorbitant prices. Being a single-shot breechloader, don't expect to spray bullets everywhere. Take your time, get a precise shot, back off and reload. Though it is one of the faster ones, all you have to do is pull the bolt a few times, no having to worry about half-♥♥♥♥, rotating cylinders, placing a percussion cap, or moving a needle around.

This mod includes lots of cool little features, such as bullet casings that interact with the world space, muzzle flash and smoke, and some other tidbits I do not dare say.
