[REC] Wisp class bomber

Following several victories over Terra, and with LKF successfully being repelled away from REC jump points and blockades a swift counteroffensive against LKF and WEC began. REC knew that TFK was on their last legs and needed as much support as REC could give but there simply were not the means to aide TFK directly in battle due to various LKF blockades and LKF fleets roaming the space around Luna, making an invasion of Luna very difficult.

But there were other ways to help TFK. A bombing campaign against LKF planetary assets could help relieve pressure on TFK forces and open up the possibility of sending them aide. However to do this, a suitable bomber would be needed. For the purpose, the Wisp class was developed.

The Wisp is equipped with many new advancements for fighter/bomber craft. The main feature is a radar jammer, which makes it appear that there are more Wisps then there actually are which confuses turret tracking. It also is quite fast and much more well armed than any previous REC bombers, and they make decent fighters as well. The Wisp has quickly become a favorite amongst pilots and high command alike, and has quickly become the mainstay bomber in the fleet.

The radar jammer is a lore thing only, in game all it is are two projections of the ship on either side
