I tweaked Antistasi Ultimate to allow LAMBS (it's disabled by default) and use the dev version but any time I get into a battle I get intermittent short freezes or lingering performance drops down to 20-30fps even on a 9800x3d/5090. I love LAMBS so much I can't face playing without it these days.
Anyway, thanks for the long-term efforts team. You have certainly prolonged the life of Arma 3, at least in my book.
Lambs_range.pbo looks greatly exaggerated.
You've increased the AI's vision range, and your ranges may look good in open spaces and during the day. But at night and in forests, it feels like cheating.
In vanilla Arma 3, the AI already sees through plants and tree foliage, but with lambs_range.pbo, the AI doubles its cheating. At night, its vision range also increases.
Please give to player the available settings for detection range. Every time I'm forced to simply delete this PBO, only this way the AI looks more adequate
