We are proud to present the Ancient Empires sponsored, Dust Particles modification. This is a modication that branches off the previous work of Enhanced Particles for Total War Rome 2, and is made for the Attila engine.

NOTE: This mod is compatible with all other mods and with Attila itself. It does not require Ancient Empires to play.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Below you will find instructions on how to install this mod. Please follow the directions below:

Similar to Rome 2, Attila prevents a mod for particles effects. Therefore, the mod can only be played through a separate download. In this download, the file is changed to a different format, which will not appear on your mod manager screen. However, as long as you place this mod in your Attila Total War/Data folder, this mod will run. The download link can be found here: DOWNLOAD[drive.google.com]


Performance:

Ancient Empire Dust Particles does not significantly impair performance. The dust is made up of low density particles and transparent enough for you to be able to zoom in closely without a significant performance drop. In order to see the particle effects, the corresponding graphical setting must be set to Max Quality.

Additionally, this is a WIP and we will continue to update this as we perfect the particles. Please check back for updates, or get notified by subscribing to the mod.

Just to be sure: I need the downloaded file to be in data folder AND subscribe to the mod here in Steam Workshop? Or am I good with just the downloaded file in data folder (no need to subscribe)?

Hmm can't get this to work. I followed the instructions, moved the file to data and turned particles to max and nothing.
