Oriole Class Frigate

The Oriole is a strong ship that is not very surprisingly based off the Krivak Class Frigate. The Oriole is built to be a pretty standard frigate that is more on the inexpensive side. Arming the frigate proved to be somewhat challenging due to the weapon layout, but I think that it has paid off aesthetically.

For armaments, the Oriole's main weapon is three large torpedoes built into the frontal turret, it also has six medium torpedoes on the side, two rear APS railguns, one of which is much smaller then the other and two large thumper missiles. It also has a laser turret that operates within 500 meters to attack planes.

Defensively the Oriole is a bit more interesting. It has smallish lams system that hooks up to the rear laser turret which doubles as an anti-munitions system along with decent missile interceptor systems and strength 10 shielding.

The Oriole's weaknesses are torpedo swarms as it doesn't have any sonar decoys. It also doesn't do too well against air vehicles as it's primary weaponry is torpedoes. Also the front torpedo turret is on about three different spinblocks or pistons so it gets disabled somewhat quickly sometimes.
