Ok. Well in any case I don't work on this, haven't for a while.

well since there is no free aim its allot easier also it doesnt make allot of sense i mean it just does not work for this game there should be an animation where he sort of *Trip walks*forward as he wonders what the hell happened then he is an easy target in the heat of the moment a headshot doesnt mean much especially with a helmet it should be a dice roll one time its an ragdoll another time its a stumbling animation another time it does nothing *As in it hit the side of his face and did nothing* i think that is the better way to handle it

I meant it more a matter of chance. The torso is a larger target than the head is all.

yeah well i guess all we would need is to have the armor in the game to be actual armor so combine guys could take hits however headshots would ruin this formula since it would make the other changes pointless unless you want to make new npc animations its best to leave it like it is for headshots

I haven't worked on this in ages. It was going to be visual as well as mechanical, but it's really been a while since I've worked on this. There would have been different tiers of body armor which stopped different calibers of bullets.

yeah yeah anyway what is this body armor mechanic is it visual or is it blood spurting out and not doing any damage?
