Hello Aviators!

Do you miss the TRAVELLING? Have you forgotten what it feels like to DEPART on holidays? Do you even remember what an AIRPORT looks like? :/


THEN I HAVE JUST THE THING FOR YOU! 👍 <3


This spring I'm bringing you a second expansion to my Regional Airport brand that is available from 1975!

This addition is designed (as always) to blend seamlessly with previous Regional Airport terminals and airports!

PLEASE have my other Regional Airports ACTIVE in mod manager for correct functioning of this mod!

MAIN FEATURES:

- NEW (paperclip) LAYOUT with parallel runways in CONCRETE or ASPHALT, new taxiway markings and RUNWAY AHEAD sign, radar base, few fake/eye-candy taxiways for accuracy

- 2 ORIGINAL glass covered TERMINAL modules that are FULLY DETAILED inside with many custom objects and awesome ANIMATIONS (thank you DH-106!)

- AIRPORT NAME display (different sides on both terminals), various decorative elements

- NEW CARGO RAMP module - a simple space for CARGO operations without a building,


I have created/added/modified countless objects to create this NEW REGIONAL AIRPORT and I will list few of them but I think this NEW KIND of BUILDING can be only appreciated once you walk through it yourself!

I strongly RECOMMEND / INVITE you to take a stroll following a Zombie with minimum camera distance or even better by parking a BUS/PLANE in front of the terminal and using its first person camera to get the full walk-through EXPERIENCE!

I can guarantee that YOU will spend some time in these new TERMINALS watching the Zombies arriving, walking up the stairs and crossing bridges to the first floor arriving at GATE with a small JETWAY Café for departing PASSENGERS, then continue watching them TRANSITING between flights through 2 BAGGAGE RECLAIM areas where you will find a unique baggage BELT spinning like a record!
There is AIRPORT INFORMATION and closed CAR RENTAL office in the main HALL as well as plenty of seats for airport visitors and passengers alike. Different aviation ARTWORK in various locations hang on walls in both terminals..

Notice the huge animated SCREEN advertising airlines and destinations, have a look at the 2 lifts going up and down for those very lazy passengers LOL! There is also BAGGAGE LOADING and STAFF ROOM situated behind the CHECK-IN desks so restricted areas like in a real airport ;)

Love this mod - however if i try to add the large Cargo Ramp to a passenger airport it crashes the game.

@TaoFred Hey mate, I've checked everything on my end as well as verified the file in question - all works as intended with no crashes or warnings. My advice would be to bump up my airport in the mods directory as another mod is probably causing a conflict. Also uninstall and reinstall first! Hope this helps!

I really like this mod, but now it crashes my game. I get the message that the file "ra_jbs.mdl" failed. I tried reinstalling it but it didn't work.

Oh yes... CommonAPI has to be deactivated on after the latest update.. also the airport you show in the screenshot is the vanilla one, so not one of mine! Anyway - glad you managed to find out what caused your trouble! Have a good one mate ;)

i located the culprit, its common api, seems that the way it manages the code now crooks the line specifically for all airports, vanilla and modded

i managed to do some troubleshooting, the damage is done to the vanilla settings, i did saves without mods and the strips are still completely crooked, it makes no sense, i even validated 110gb worth of files and they are still crooked

Hey there! I have checked ALL airports, airfields and airstrips and they work/display properly.
There must me either an issue with other mod skewing your stripes and airport roads or some other glitch related to graphics card on your machine? I always advise to unsubscribe and subscribe again and also check if other mods aren't at fault.
Remember that the game also gives priority to the order in which you subscribed so if you had added my airports after another (created later) mod and the author used or modified some files without changing their name that could also potentially cause an error in displaying the textures properly. Hope you get this problem sorted!
