A place so miserable even the buildings break down crying.

The rail network is still somehow here, and is currently the best way to navigate hell on earth. Please mind the gap, infrastructure failures due to the ground being able to eat buildings, and global superpowers pushing their economic system. We hope you enjoy your stay.

I just needed an excuse to bask the landscape in mud. The original purpose of this map was to see how many cool shadows I could make, and drowning certain things in mud helps.

Draiename: derived from "draaien," meaning 'to circle' in Dutch, and Suriname, with "-name" being a native suffix for rivers. "Drai" is also how 'dry' is pronounced in Hindi, a language commonly spoken in Suriname.
