CloneWars HUD

Immerse yourself in the Star Wars Clone Wars universe with authentic helmet HUDs!

CloneWars HUD brings the iconic helmet displays from the Clone Wars series directly into Arma 3. Experience the battlefield through the eyes of a Clone Trooper with multiple helmet types, each featuring their own unique HUD interface.




Features

  • Multiple Helmet Types - Support for P1, P2, ARF, and BARC helmets, each with unique HUD designs
  • Full Customization - Customize HUD colors to your preference or enable RGB mode for dynamic effects 🌈
  • Damage System - Your HUD can crack and break when taking damage, adding realism and immersion
  • Repair Mechanics - Repair your damaged HUD using configurable keybinds
  • ACE3 Integration - Full compatibility module for ACE3 users
  • CBA Settings - Highly configurable through CBA Settings menu
  • View Modes - Toggle HUD visibility in first and third-person views
  • Localization - Available in English and French




Requirements

Required:
  • CBA_A3 - Community Base Addons

Optional (Recommended):
  • ACE3 - Enhanced compatibility features




Configuration

Access settings through: ESC → Options → Addon Options → CloneWars HUD

Available Options:

General Settings:
  • Enable by Default - Automatically activates HUD on spawn
  • Enable Third Person - Display HUD in third-person view
  • Break Chance - Set damage probability (0% to 100%)

Visual Customization:
  • HUD Color - Choose your preferred interface color
  • RGB Mode - Enable dynamic rainbow color effects

Helmet Compatibility:
  • Configure helmet classnames for each HUD type (ARF, BARC, P1, P2)
  • Default configuration includes standard helmet sets
  • Note: Helmet list changes require mission restart




How to Use

  1. Equip a compatible Clone Trooper helmet
  2. The HUD will activate automatically (if enabled in settings)
  3. Use keybinds (configurable in Controls) to:
    • Toggle HUD on/off
    • Repair damaged HUD




Supported HUD Types

  • P1 - Phase I Clone Trooper helmet
  • P2 - Phase II Clone Trooper helmet
  • ARF - Advanced Recon Force helmet
  • BARC - BARC Speeder pilot helmet

looks great, could you add a cba option to disable it from turning off in third person? like enabling = stay in 3rd person, disabling = it turns off in first person, but always stays on in first person, because right now as soon as you go in third person, it fully disables, even in first person and you have to re enable it

does this require any dlc? i thought the mask overlay feature didn't require ace?
