Experience the minuscule gravity of Pluto as you glide between this glacier of frozen methane and the mountains surrounding it. This daring low-gravity circuit is a later addition to the Outer Reaches Project.

Development:
This was my answer to the Outer Reaches Expansion tracks. I loved the gliding sections on Haze and wanted more, so in Spring of 2021 I developed this circuit on Pluto, which has even less gravity than the moon Haze is built on. To enhance the gliding experience even more, I remade the aerial pads present on the outer reaches tracks by eye, and made turbo triggers at the tops of the jumps. Because it is so far from us, the surface of Pluto is not understood in much detail, but scientists think that it has glaciers of frozen methane, and methane snow at certain times of year. The scenery for this track was based on the other Outer Reaches tracks, as well as some cool renders of what Pluto might look like, with maroon rocks and methane-snow-capped mountains. Early in development, I had this track as a point-to-point layout with a teleporter at the end, much like Helios Descent, but since I couldn't get it to flow well, I eventually went with a (comparatively) more tame layout. The towers in the center of the glacier are inspired by the buildings from the Mars tracks on Rollcage 2.
