WWII - Kriegsmarine (1935-1945)

The Kriegsmarine (War Navy) was the navy of Germany from 1935 to 1945. It superseded the Imperial German Navy of the German Empire (1871–1918) and the inter-war Reichsmarine (1919–1935) of the Weimar Republic. The Kriegsmarine was one of three official branches of the Wehrmacht, along with the Heer and the Luftwaffe.

I've noticed a decent amount of confusion about the uniform types/categories, so here is a quick guide:

-Sea Service: The Sea Service Uniform was the standard, everyday uniform of the Kriegsmarine. It was worn while on ship, while working in office, and while at shore stations. This uniform was worn by all members 90% of the time.

-Frock Coat: The Frock Coat was a ceremonial/dress uniform exclusive to Kriegsmarine Officers. It was worn typically when reviewing parades, attending formal gatherings/balls, and for any other occasions that warrant a dress appearance. The version of the Frock Coat included in this pack is the "Dress Down" version that was most common in the Kriegsmarine. A "Grand" Dress Version existed, but was basically phased out by the late 1930s. I would heavily encourage you do some research into the Frock Coats Various Styles of Dress.

-Marine "Uniform": The Kriegsmarine did not have a separate uniform for Naval Infantry, commonly refereed to as "Marines" in the West. For the most part, these Sailors simply wore breaches and equipment belts with their Sea Service Uniform. Do not confuse the "Marines" with the Coastal Artillery, who had different uniforms.
