History
People have been preoccupied with the idea of self-driving vehicles from the very beginning. Although we got quite close to the goal with the help of early 21st century technology, fully automated vehicles are still not present in public traffic. However sci-fi novels and movies give us an insight into a world where self-driving vehicles are part of everyday life. In the Logan movie, we can see several fully automated trucks that can operate without a driver and can also transport multiple interconnected containers. These "road trains" are economical and can travel huge distances without stopping.


Notes:
Main front
2130 Tris (with diffuse, normal, colour, illumination and specular map)

The mod contains 13 assets. Each vehicle is a separate asset, so you can turn them off one-by-one as needed.
  • Ore trucks with one, two or three attachments (blue)
  • Forestry trucks with one, two or three attachments (green)
  • Farming trucks with one, two or three attachments (yellow)
  • Fish trucks with one, two or three attachments (red)
  • Box truck with one attachment (gray)

If you don't like the colour variations, feel free to change them in Advanced Vehicle Options as your desire.

Warning!

The fish truck only works with the Sunset Harbor DLC.

Might use these as “yard dogs” for transporting containers within the shipyards in my city.

And yes, in real life there are already self-driving trucks that basically do this as well.

Still using these and love em. Any update on an empty version? Would love a bus-version as well... be great to see these solely operating in a cargo area rather than long hauls in and out of the city. Added and can send steam$ as thank you.

I love this asset, but sadly it always throws a 'broken' error for me. It says 'Duplicate prefab name'. Any ideas for a fix?
