[PvP or Coop] Battle Island Altis

描述
Medium Scale Infantry combat with up to 40 players (PVP 20 vs 20 or Coop 1-20).
Features:
- Wide array of parameters to customize mission.
- Custom sector control logic.
- Full AI support (AI can also be disabled completely)
- Custom support system (CAS, more options will follow).

Basically like my other "Battle" mission but larger and with a bunch of new and better systems in place
(Like a custom Hud readout for remaining tickets, the option to mark only friendly squads on the map and a counter for you current kill streak.
I also put in some effort to make the scripts more secure. I'm by no means an expert on Arma server security so I kinda just went all paranoid with everything.)

TODO list is still pretty long with things like support you can call in ("paying" with killstreak, don't know if that's a good idea, we'll see...) and setting up forward bases where you can spawn.
I hope to get all these things in at some point but here it is so far, what is there works as far as I tested.

NOTE: You do not fight over the whole island in this mission like for example in warfare, but there are multiple locations you can select from in the mission parameters. Also there are hexagonal cells in this mission on an island, it had to be named something with "battle" and "island" right?

Update: It is now possible to call in support from an CAS plane if you score 5 or more kills without dying, more support options are still on the list.

I'm doing a lot of test for do a mission like that but i don't arrive to my objective... can you insert in the comment an script example, which you use in that mission? Please.

Well short version: the cells are in fact standard Arma triggers and round. I just tactically placed markers around the edge in a hexagonal shape because I thougt that would look cool. That is, I wrote a script that creates and places those markers, and a whole lot of other scripts that change their colors and keep track of who ownes what sector, etc. For the points I used a combination of eventhandlers (onKilled) and the ticket respawn template. If you google those things you should find some good documentation about that.

sorry.... i'm a noob in Arma editor... how do you do the sector/island/hexagonal cells ? and the decrease of the points when a soldier kill an enemy? you use a editor module or scripts?
it is just for curiosity and to improve my editor .. thanks

I have testet reasonably well everything I could think of, I can however not guarantee that there are no bugs. If you find them report them here and I will fix them as soon as I can.
