Thx for mentioning it, sadly those were put in the game by changes to the base game we have no influence in and that sadly do not show up in any patch notes.
The workaround for the ammo glitch, switch the unit to somethign else and back. Sometimes u need to remove the hero too, but usually switching does the trick.
Same happens to zero slot/reduced slot heroes when imported into a campaign. but since u get more slots that way, no one complains.
Finnland Ski will get an update in the historical path in 44. not sure how i want to deal with them in the ahistorical one.
And a bad hack: If you dissolve an allied unit during the setup phase you get the hero from them.
I noticed this whe I need more slots for my big planes and you can use this new heros like your own the rest of the campaign. Maybe this hack runs on every unit not only with plane heros. But you can use this new plane heros for your ground forces...
For example: You get the hero "Herman-Bernhard Ramcke" who gives parachutists 3 more ammo. You have one map the full bonus 6/6 ammo, next map you have with this hero normal 3/3 ammo and if you remove this hero from the unit, then the unit get 3/0 ammo. That means the unit can fire 3 times and never get mor ammo.
The same problem has "Klaus Schmidt" a hero which gives every unit only one map 3 more ammo and artillery hero "Pawel Arakcheyev".
The AA hero "Walter Gramatzki" which gives AA units 2 more ammo runs good with AA-cars, but if you put him on Flak 36 or Flak 41 you have the same problem like the others.

a good way to reduce turn limits pressure is to take general traits like "meticolous planning" or "agressive deployment".
in the advanced options u can enhance the number of general trais u get at the start of a campaign.

then it´s not possible to remove the turn limit for the mod, unless u edit each and evry scenario to ur liking.
