B&O F7B 5515

描述
The Baltimore and Ohio was the first common carrier railroad in the United States. First opened in the city of Baltimore, MD in 1830, the B&O served the states of Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia all the way until being phased out of existence when the Chessie System family name merged with Seaboard Coast Line on November 1st, 1980 to become CSXT. The Chesapeake and Ohio had financial control over the B&O since 1963, and the B&O had a controlling interest in the Western Maryland. The three railroads took on the Chessie System name in 1973 and in 1976 the WM was merged with the B&O.

The B&O started to paint their equipment with the solid blue and yellow side stripes in August 1964 to 1972. This model works well on a layout with the time period of the mid 1960s to the late 1970s. Most Chessie System F units were sold or put into storage by the mid to late 70s.

Now you can travel back to the 1960s and 70s with this B&O F7B, road number B&O 5515. This livery was one of my first so I might update the livery in the future. Other than that I hope you enjoy, and happy railroading!
