"The M7S Submachine Gun is a personal defense weapon issued to UNSC Armed Forces special operators. the M7S is equipped with an external flash and SS/M 49 sound suppressor on the barrel along with an underbarrel flashlight. To assist the user in target acquisition, the weapon is fitted with a SLS/V 5B smart-linked scope. It was introduced into UNSC service in 2431, and saw use during the Insurrection. The M7S was notably employed by SPARTAN-II Blue Team during Operation: TALON, during which they captured URF leader Robert Watts. The weapon continued to see use throughout the Human-Covenant War, becoming notably iconic in the hands of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. The weapon saw heavy use during the Battle of Mombasa in late 2552, and has since continued to see use by ODST units in the Post-Covenant War conflicts."

This mod replaces the MAC-10 SMG in L4D2 with the M7S SMG from Halo 3 ODST. It uses the high resolution textures from Halo the master Chief Collection and uses custom animations recreated by Adorabirb!
Replaces the HUD ICON texture for the MAC-10.
Replaces the MAC-10 Sign within Whitaker's Gun shop.

I really wish there was a version with the old reload animation. I'm really not a fan of the new one.

idk why the character uses the charging handle since it's unnecessary on UNSC SMGs, but whatever. At least this one doesn't have the god awful firing sounds of the H2A one where they slapped on an airsoft red dot.

There´s a bug if u use third person, u can see the fire bullets from your shoulder.

I think I found the reason why the game crashes when you have either the M7s or M7b installed. They conflict with any MP5 re-placer mods, I uninstalled my MP5 mod and they work fine now.

Kinda wish this version of the SMG came with animations that are more accurate to the Halo 3/Halo 3 ODST animations but regardless I still think this mod is pretty good for what it is. Gets the job done as an SMG replacer. Well done. :steamthumbsup:

Not sure what exactly is going on and if maybe there's something on my end but, for some reason the reloading of this gun has a really high chance to just crash my game. I've tried many different graphics settings and turned off many mods, so not sure why thats happening?

god i hope one day we get another ODST story game, the original was just about perfection, sure it was hammy at times anytime buck talked to dare but man everything else just came together so nicely
