"The M7/Caseless Submachine Gun is a personal defense weapon developed and manufactured by Misriah Armory. It is commonly used by infantry, special forces, and vehicle crews of the UNSC Armed Forces. Originally, the M7 SMG was issued solely to vehicle crews as an emergency weapon; however, the submachine gun became widely used during the Insurrection. The weapon became favored by paramilitary police units and UNSC Special Forces units for its efficiency in eliminating insurgents located in orbital habitats and cluttered urban environments. Due to this efficacy, the M7 was also popular with those same Insurrectionists. Although the UNSC began trialing a replacement for the weapon, the M7 SMG remains the current submachine gun model used by the UNSC following the Human-Covenant War."

This mod replaces the Uzi SMG in L4D2 with the M7 SMG from Halo 3. It uses the high resolution textures from Halo the master Chief Collection and uses custom animations recreated by Adorabirb!
Replaces the HUD ICON texture for the UZI.
Replaces the UZI Sign within Whitaker's Gun shop.

I really wish there was a version with the old reload animation. I'm really not a fan of the new one.

@PROD_GRIMM0 it's the same animations but with an extended reload animation from Halo 2 and a new inspect animation, holster animation, and fidget animations from Halo 2/3. that's basically it.

@Tinfoot I like to think that even though the ammo is caseless. you do still need to cycle the actual rounds somehow. so I feel the charging handle is in case the M7 jams or to cycle in a fresh round after the magazine is inserted from the side.

I don't know if a caseless smg should have a charging handle, but there seems to be one on the m7 regardless so I guess that doesn't matter

The updated animations jumpscared me, I thought I downloaded a new SMG Mod and then completely forgot about it, very good new anims though!

@Warrior Lodestar been working on that. the issue is more the world model. I wanted to try and find out how to have the blades not show when the sword is not in use and appear when held in a survivor's hands in third person.

Man, all of this is so cool. You know, when I use these weapons you made and the halo character mod, I almost lost myself.I'm a little disoriented, but I'm very happy.

is it possible to replace the katana with the energy sword from halo 3, i know it wont have any scripts for the lighting effects. but i'm tired of the other energy sword that still have the animations of the machete.
