Jeep Willys V6 Pentastar Crawler [config]

This is a config file for my Jeep Willys Military V6 Pentastar Crawler.

The Jeep and Dodge Modern DLCs are required. (Dodge Modern DLC required for air intake.)

First and foremost: I need to address the rims. Make sure you buy new rims, and set their ET to 150. This vehicle was built to have a super-wide track, and an extended wheelbase. When you first buy this Jeep, you'll notice the wheels clipping through parts of the suspension. Once you buy rims and set their ET(offset) to 150, and reinstall the wheels, you will have no clipping issues. The last three screenshots show the before-and-after. You no longer need to buy new rims. The config has been updated.

Second: I installed the V6 Pentastar and scaled up the engine to give that V6 more Vroom! (416 HP stock) Download the Tuning DLC for maximum performance. It's free! Driveshafts and exhausts are lined out nice and smooth.

UPDATE 13:13 3/4/21: I centered the steering wheel. Completely missed it.

This is a badass crawler/buggy. No weird extras. No frills. It's made for slow-burn mayhem and rumbling pleasure. Invest in a new spare tire. ;)

The body and rims are painted Matte black. Head lights, tail lights, bumpers, fenders, mirror, and windshield parameters are H - 215, S - 100, B - 25, and Matte. Makes for a nice, dark-blue trim. In case you want to match the screenshots exactly. "Unrealistic wheel sizes" must be enabled in the options.

The V6 Pentastar Crawler can be found in the Junkyard, Auction, and Barns. This isn't a rare vehicle like the Sandtrout, so you shouldn't be too long finding one. Have fun!

CONFIGS REQUIRE A MANUAL INSTALL

1. Subscribe

2. Navigate to ...Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\645630\2404368947

3. Copy the bodyconfig1.txt and config1.txt files.

4. Navigate to ...Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018\cms2018_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars\JeepWillysMiltary

5. Paste the two config files here. Configs must be named in numerical order! (Remember to rename these configs, only if you have multiple files, with the appropriate number, in accordance with your config files' numerical order.)

6. Enjoy!
