Note : Since we have not played with Rimworld for a while, it is very likely that we will not be able to respond to any anomalies.( Since 2025/7/12 ~)


When Pawn watch TV, Pawn will get a certain percentage of guesses.

When Pawn gets a guess(Fave),
It will prioritize watching TV,
and will get mood buff based on passed days,
and a temporary buff when watching TV.

Description
* Get a Fave Pawn
If you install this mod, you will have a certain chance to have a fave pawn when watching TV.

  • Got Fave pawn Chance ( first ) : 60 % ( changeable in mod setting. )
  • Got Fave pawn Chance ( after first ) : 30%

* Mood Buff
  • Mood Buff : 3

    If pawn have fave pawn, pawn always get three point buff in pawn emotions.

  • Passed days Mood Buff : 1

    If pawn have fave pawn,
    Pawns gain an additional emotions buff for the number of days that have passed since the day they acquired the Fave Pawn.

    * Applicable buff value = base(3) + passed days / 1 season days * passed bonus buff point(1)

  • Watch TV Mood Buff : 3

    If pawn have fave pawn,
    Pawns gain an additional emotions buff when pawn watch TV.

These value can change in mod setting.

* Custom Pawn
  • Default
    By Default, Pawn get randam name fave pawn.

  • Specific
    By Specific, Pawn get Specific name fave pawn.

    If necessary, you open this mod file ( Language/(your language)/Strings/StreamerNames ), and see readme.txt file.

  • Custom
    By registering a name in Mod Setting, you can make that charactor appear as a guess.

* Language
Japanese, English( Machine Translation ).


* Other
In Dev Mode, you can add and remove guesses manually.

You should see if you can take over this mod. I don't think it's gonna be updated and tying it together with this would make sense.

Oh great! Thank you, and it's okay. Language translation can be very tricky/difficult, and you did a pretty good job. I would honestly struggle much more if I were trying to do the same thing.

About the TV screen thing, having the streamers be displayed on it;
That seems tough and honestly it was more of a "day-dream" idea, or "passing idea". It was very random, spur of the moment in concept, so I don't care much if it is not possible not, or too difficult to do. It might not be worth your time.

However, the idea Thaumoking had about the player's colonists becoming streamers themselves is a wonderful, and much more worthy of putting time into.
This is your choice of course, but again, I already love what you have done.

Thank you for your comment, I have corrected the translation of "guess" to "streamer" etc.
( I'm not very good at English, so this helps a lot! )
As for the TV screen, I will investigate how to implement it.

This mod is wonderful. Only things I would like to see change (*if possible*) are the 'streamers pawns' doing things on television screen (maybe impossible) and the word "guess" changed to "potential fave" or better yet, "streamer".
That's up to tyou of course, but "guess" makes no sense in English in context to what's going on, description or otherwise.

"Guess" means "to believe or suppose, or arrive at a conclusion with little evidence to support your idea". Maybe it's translation error, but even if that's not changed I still love this mod.

Regardless, thanks for making this, yrtwof.

I hope you make many more amazing things.
