SCP: Lost Control

SCP: Lost Control is an SCP based gamemode. Gameplay is similar to the gamemode named Breach, however this addon was written from scratch and contains many improvements. As its precursor, it's designed to be played with other players and there is no support for bots or NPCs. This gamemode is kind of rewrite/remake of Breach, but has many new features, changes and improvements. Core gameplay is similar - some teams have to escape, while other teams have to stop them. Here is short overview of gameplay:

► Class D - Most of the time, you will play as Class D. You can play in a team or alone. Gather tools and weapons in order to escape. Avoid SCPs and facility staff, cooperate with CI.

► Scientists - Unarmed staff, there's not much you can do - your fate depends mostly on Guards. Find a way to Entrance Zone and escape. Avoid SCPs and CI, cooperate with Guards and MTFs

► Guards - Armed facility staff. Help scientists and terminate Class D and SCPs. Playing in this team requires cooperation.

► MTFs - Mobile Task Forces are here to help the guards and scientists inside the facility. Terminate Class D and SCPs.

► CI - As Chaos Insurgency, help Class D and kill everyone else. Spawn rate of CI is rather smaller than MTFs.

► SCP - Have fun and kill everyone, but it also works in the other way - everyone wants to kill you. Try to escape from the facility.




Q: I found a bug! Where can i report it?
A: Report it on the Discord - feel free to ping me (link at the top of the page). If you don't have Discord, you can report bugs in comments, however my response will be slower.

Q: Why does it look like Breach?
A: This gamemode looks like breach mostly because of the same map and similar gameplay mechanics. This gamemode is focused on performance and quality of gameplay.

Q: Why did you rewrite entire gamemode?
A: I wanted to update my version of Breach, but tbh Breach was not coded well. I got to point where fixing one problem, was causing 3 new ones. So I decided to rewrite this gamemode from scratch

Q: What's "better" in this gamemode?
A: First of all, internal code and performance. New improved gameplay, mechanics and content. Gamemode uses OOP as often as possible, so it's very easy to add new stuff (classes, SCPs and items) as plugin without having to reupload entire gamemode.

Q: Can I host server or modify this addon?
A: Yes, I can't forbid you to do any of these things. I only ask you to don't reupload this addon - reuploading this addon will prevent people from receiving new updates, however you may want to look into the code as most things can be done as a plugin.

Q: Will you update this gamemode?
A: Yea, I'm going to add new stuff, but I don't know when because I'm doing this gamemode in my free time.
