Former pro football player Wahoo McDaniel transitioned into wrestling a few years after retiring from the game.

Wahoo notably feuded with Johnny Valentine in JCP before moving on to a feud with Johnny's son, Greg Valentine. Greg started the feud off on a high note, breaking Wahoo's leg and gaining himself some serious heel heat.

Throughout his career, Wahoo held multiple titles in the NWA, including the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title (7x), the National Heavyweight Championship, and the United States Heavyweight Championship (5x).

In 2019, Wahoo was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
