Portal 2 - Remastered Portal Gun (v2021)

I've already made this twice before, but since they were simply super-edited versions of the old EXTREMELY low quality Portal Gun model, I've always felt they just don't make the cut.

After fooling with Blender, working on other models, and learning a great deal about model editing and from-scratch builds, I decided to take on the project again. This new model is entirely from scratch, textures and everything, and while it's still not quite up to the level of modellers such as BlueFlytrap or Nyyma, it's certainly a lot closer.

This SHOULD not conflict with my previous released versions, but just for reasons I WILL be deleting the others in a week's time. If you have a save with an older version that you wanna change after I delete them, then just make sure not to let SFM remove them before you do so.

UPDATE| Added bodygroup to remove glass and moved the Aperature logo lower somewhat

Heyo, I think that'd be awesome! I gotta finish up some general improvements/optimization to the model first, expect that within the next week tops. It's just going to be file size optimization and visual improvements to the glowey bits.

Actually, no. I thought about it, but in the end decided to leave it out. I didn't see a need for it, since it would require redesigning the handle.

I don't use SFM, but I was curious if this includes a trigger and trigger guard in the model.

If you right click on the model file on the left of the screen, there'll be a drop-down menu near the bottom of the options that show up that says "bodygroups". You'll find them there.
