It is compatible. Game gives you a warning if you have any mods enabled. But it's lying. If you start the game and then open achievement tab, you'll see that it is ineed possible to earn achievements, which i did. I also used it with another mod, "Less decoration", and had no problem.

Can confirm, but not only with other mods active, I just tested with only this mod active, and the search highlight didn't work indeed.

Found a bug, when this mod is active along with your UI2.0 mod, the tech search wont work properly, as soon as the bronze mod is active, the marker around the technologies that would fit the search term were gone. I guess the "search" still works but the marker, which is atleast also bronze/orange is missing.
Like the bronze style of the buttons, thumbs up!
