Delta Class Littoral Combat Ship

The Delta is a relatively specialized ship aimed at destroying larger vessels and small planes. The Delta is primarily a defensive ship running streangth 10 shielding, LAMS, a CIWS gun, smoke and relatively strong armor for it's size along with many interceptors. The LAMS is the strongest defense mechanism and allows it to zap large missiles and shells with ease. The CIWS also functions as a primary weapon dealing decent damage to armored targets and is also competant in defense against planes.

The main weaponry is 3 medium torpedoes, 14 medium missiles and two large missiles. There is also an upwards aiming AA laser connected up to the LAMS system for defense.

The main role of the Delta is to take out larger ships that can't hit it due to it's LAMS system. In testing, it could beat much larger godly difficulty ships due to it's strong defenses without taking almost any damage.

This ship was a much more meta build then many of my ships, so I had to add in some interesting counters. I set up smoke in the ship in order to provide a weakness in the LAMS system along with to obscure the top laser. I also removed all surge protectors and the heavy armor on the AI along with the extra propellers and hydrofoils to balance it out and put all the AI components in one long compartment.
