Airplane BIGGER Runway 32m by Chamëleon

Just a quick proof of concept. But of Course working :)

Bigger, wider, larger, fatter Airplane Runways! Double width!

Two functional versions. One with End-Markings, one without them. They connect seamless to Normal sized Runways as well as to the normal runways.

Matches the Vanilla style and colour. (pictures show wrong colour and lines, will be updated soon)

In LOD Mode you see a small blue clipping. This is normal regarding to the Vanilla mesh. Just put either a ploppable surface or something different over it... or play with a mod that changes/disable LOD view distance

If you upgrade an normal Airport runway with these ones you'll need to tewak the positions a little bit.

they are normal non DLC runways, you can use them additionally to the DLC ones, but not exclusevly. You need also the DLC ones if you want to level up the Airport

Ok thanks for the reply...I'm just getting back into CS after several years away...and this isn't the first mod I've come across that could only be found that way...so it must be the general state of the mods in 2021 for a 2016 game...

@bigly_wiggly - i did yesterday a first test with that but was not really happy with it... the connection to the runways do not work as expected... maybe i'll find a solution for that... But no guarantee

This is great, I've been waiting for something like this. Will there be a set of double-wide taxiways to go with these?
