The invader Zim fandom is horrible. Was part of a forum where I was basically ostracized because I said I liked other shows on the network (before it turned into nothing but a 24/7 Spongbob network)

@unusual shuba the fandom is toxic as ♥♥♥♥. Even with my limited experience with the fandom, most of them are incredably insecure and are less fans of invader zim, and more obsessive worshippers of jhonen, as these zim fans often bleed into jthm fans. The fandom itself is filled with insecure, drama prone asshats that sexualise and fetishize the characters of both invader zim and jthm. They also larp as having severe mental illnesses and ♥♥♥♥, while not actually having them. tbf my memory is rusty, but that community is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful. I liked invader zim and enjoyed the jthm comics when I was in high school, but the fandom and community shouldnt be touched with a 10 foot pole.
