描述
[CV Mining ship built for Reforged Eden]

Mining Barge module for jrandall's Helios sled ship.

Docks under the Helios in one of the side module bays. Chews through asteroids and has enough turrets to keep you out of trouble.

Specifications:
8 x Mining Lasers
9 x Flak Turrets
2 x Advanced Constructors
2 x 320k Harvest Storage
1 x 200k Cargo Storage
1 x 200k Ammo Storage
1 x Warp Drive
1 x Shield

Would you be okay with me uploading a heavily-modified version of this build? I wanted a combat module and liked the design of your ships, so I used your mining rig as the basis for it.

I did a little field-upgrade to mine recently:
I added the automated rich harvesters (6 ice and 6 ore) to the front pods, replacing parts of armor. Maybe I did it not the best way but it sure does the job. Also put a longrange radar in the back middle (pulling the flak further back and placing it under it)
Also added 2 shield booste and 2 extenders.

I'm playing with the thought of also upgrading to bigger side-thrusters, but that is a creative-mode job...

maybe the creator can make an upgraded version?

just built it, not bad.
But I right away put in 2 advanced extenders and upgraded the shield. Right now I'm unsure how manny of the shield modules i need.
Also could be a bit more agile in turninmg and side-movement.

Very nice helios modul. 2 ideas: sidespeed could be improved, hard to cicle around astroids with this slow speed. Also a bit more cargo would be good.

@dew1960 While in the ship, press F4 and use the dropdown menus near the top of either side to select the various containers in the ship, what you're looking for is called a container controller rather than a cargo box.
