You can remove some cars in the shop, though I will probably update this for 1.7 so that I provide a short and long version with the arrows on top of the menu instead.

This it the DB BR 411, but give in Reality, a shoter vision of this Train DB BR 415 too

I don't know where I got the 6 from. :D
I'll leave the lower limit at 2 though. I give the users the option to run slightly shorter trains in my mods.
