can you creat also german steam loco from 20th century? like DR Baureihe 01 or british/french loco's of this times

I indeed didn't balance my mods against the game because the vanilla trains themselves are not balanced. I decided to balance my mods against themselves. After all, my mods provide a very complete experience. (trams, metros to commuters and regional trains to high speed trains)

My ICE 3D currently costs 20.4 million in game. Is that not enough? I found starting already takes a long time with my prices because everything is so expensive. I can increase the price, make you pay even more for more power. Re-balancing my fleet can eat up some time though.

Hello, You have very beautiful and enjoyable mods! Since I balance my mods according to yours I realized that you are by far below the official prices, I would be happy if we could balance our mods according to the official prices.There are mods from others like Stadler FLIRT shown at 13.5 mio ingame. I currently show my mod (Stadler Giruno) at a price of 11.195 mio according to your ICE prices, while the list price is at around 27 mio. It would be great if we could reballance it since the game lives from realistic prices!

None of my mods are balanced at the moment. I will start balancing when I finish my Belgian line up (and thus have a bit of everything) The balancing should be done within a week. :)

Love this mod but it seems a bit unbalanced. The price for a double unit is less than the price of one of the default regional train (top speed 120 km/h) with similar capacity

Yeah, I will do that. I do have quite a number of mods to update though. :D

Hi there! Thanks for this great mod. I am using this one a lot in my game for the ICE trains to Frankfurt. I have c. 100 units speeding around on the ICE International route between the Netherlands and Germany.

I have one request! Can this one be updated with an additional [TrainMultipleUnit] entry to have an option for longer sets? Maybe a coupled set of 2x150m or so, to hit the 1000 pax cap. Some of my lines are very busy and could use the big capacity that would create :-)

in all honesty, i really like this balancing approach
especially since this game lets us extremely long routes
so why not facilitate it by letting us run trains at extreme speeds? :D

I hope the first 400+ km/h rail mods happen soon :)

I had a short chat with some of the bigger active modders on the Discord channel about balancing and we decided to go with the maximum design speed, which is 380km/h for the Velaro D.

There are 3 different maximum speeds for a train. These are the values for the Velaro D:

Licensed speed: 320km/h
Design speed: 380km/h
Top speed in experimental setup: 403km/h

I think I'll request a feature that allows us modders to set all 3 of these speeds. And then the user can select at the start of his game which max speeds he wants to play with. (I initially had lincensed speeds on all my mods ;) )
For now, if you want you can edit them locally. Find the mod in your steam folder and copy it to Users/saved games/weird and wry/nimby rails/mods. Though that would mean you no longer receive my updates. (which certainly will come)
