AC Sentinel Vehemence

I present to you, the one, and only.... Assault Cruiser Sentinel Vehemence! This is to be the largest ship of the Sentinel Series at 72 blocks (180 m) in length, and I packed within it all of the weaponry to serve the title. It uses six scripts, many of which are for those said weapons, the details of which are presented below. It also has the usual turret welders and projectors; it is, needless to say, intended for later game. Let's get into the stats:

The optional scripts are, as the name states, optional, but the only reason not to use them is because performance is a serious issue. They are useful for various reasons and might even save you from trouble you mightn't have foreseen otherwise (like running out of oxygen).


If you happen to want to build this in survival (which I built it to be ready for, so don't be afraid!), but are worried about subgrids, I've got you covered. The ship has a total of 12 subgrids: 4 missile racks for a total of 16 missiles, and 8 Rotor Missile Turret Mk2's. Here are the blueprints for them so you can project them in a survival build:

Make sure to group each Rotor Missile Turret separately, this is not done automatically if you are building it in survival!


The role of the AC Sentinel Vehemence is not just to be a heavily armed warship - it is a flagship of a fleet (hah, until I finally get off my ass and build something to dwarf it), a symbol of pride and diligence of the faction members who construct one to protect themselves and hopefully others among their world. It also has support for a crew of 12. In combat situations, the best tactic is to target the enemy grid from the maximum missile script targeting range using one of the cameras on the front or sides, and releasing as many missiles as there is time or components stored. The rotor missile turrets are capable of doing a lot of damage, but are fragile despite their armored base and can be knocked off rather easily. Caution is advised. This ship is made for fleet battles, seek and destroy missions, one on one duels, or practically any combat situations one might find themselves in. I sincerely hope you, the user, will find this ship reliable and enjoyable to use.
