[LKF] Meraki Light Freighter

Aurora Australis class freighters have been serving the LKF since the before the breakout of war. However, they are very slow and vulnerable. The newly comissioned Meraki class Light Freigher solves these issues, being more prepared to serve in a war theatre. It comes much better armed, and is much faster than the Aurora, for a trade off of cargo capacity.

Currently escorts aren't available for freight vessels, so the Meraki freighters have been equipped with a bow rocket pod and a basic point defense system for protection.

Description

The Meraki is a useful, light freighter. It has 2 large cargo containers, 2 large hydrogen tanks and a jump drive. It's powered by 2 reactors and has multiple batteries for storage. No production equipment bar the basic capabilites of the survival kit are mounted in its stock configuration.
