Dutch:
Japanese attacked Makassar and forced us to retreat into the mountains. Here in Tjamba fortifications we will make our last stand! To arms! No step back!

Japanese:
Capturing Makassar was quick and easy. Last remaining Dutch troops retreated into the mountains. Cowards! We will crush them using our SNLF troops and tanks!
