2. Spend endless hours trawling through secret stashes, etc, to hopefully get a random building knowledge drop
If you start you your game like this, realise and remove the mod - too late - you're locked in to your character having this handicap.

And no, I have tried many other methods with no success, a new player is required to receive the starting resources.
I was successfully able to make it so players receive building knowledge up to naonite upon new player creation. Therefore, no more being stuck at iron building knowledge while having titanium and naonite as starting resources.
Mod ver. 2.0:
Updated the entire factions.lua file into the new 2.2+ settings.
Fully tested in single-player on all difficulties and modes. It functions as it should.
The mod has already been updated, unsub & resub if it isn't updating.
