THIS HAS BEEN OFFICALLY FIXED BY THE DEVS AS OF 2/3/2021.

Lightweight Mod that Fixes two bugs with climbing. Shouldn't Interfere with any other Mods you have unless they alter ClimbHang.dir or ClimbStand.dir. But those are both minor scripts so they tend to be untouched. c:

Spend the better part of 4 Hours digging through the code to find and fix the two issues with Climbing.

First Fix will stop you from standing up and clipping into the ceiling while mashing spacebar when climbing into a crouchspace from a ledge.

and the second fix will stop a minor visual bug that happened when you would move from a hang ledge to a non hang ledge while moving to the right. You used to get caught in an infinite loop of reverse transition animations until you moved.

Enjoy and feel free to mark this as a dependency for any other mods or maps. Preferably with credit :P

This is for old climbing bugs that were patched out years ago.

If you want to enable climbing yourself you'll need to edit your Player.dir in Edith's director editor or spawn a dynamic spawn of a player.templ and check "Can Climb"

i didn't enable jumping or anything. I simply Fixed two small issues in the smaller scripts in the jumping script sections. Its the be used for modders and players playing modded maps. It's a lightweight mod so it shouldn't affect any other mods.

If you want to enableclimbing you'll have to either do it yourself, play a map/mod that has climbing enabled (Like my map #ShamelessPlug) or subscribe to the mod that enables climbing in the main game.

But since climbing needs special climbable ledges it wont do much in the main game.

If you want to enable climbing yourself you'll need to edit your Player.dir in Edith's director editor.

Dumb question, but did you enable jumping/climbing for the player's spawn point? It's disabled by default, IIRC.
