OSCAR - 19 Swift Fortune

The Oscar-19 "Swift Fortune" is a classification for medium size, civilian shuttles primarily used for the comfortable, long distance transportation of engineers and limited cargo from one planet to another. The Oscar-19 class (keel laid in October 19) was designed for such a purpose, offering comfortable accommodations for traveling engineers. Oscar-19s has a modular mid and aft section and can be retrofitted or custom ordered with different lifts, stowage holds and passenger accommodations depending on client needs. Typical crew is two, one pilot and one engineer. The "Swift Fortune" can accommodate a small shuttle.

The Oscar-19s are very minimalistic in power, fuel, weight, PCU and life support, therefore they were designed to give the Oscar-19's pilot and engineer in depth control over the ship's system and resources, resulting in a very complex and complicated pilot and engineer stations.

The engineer can control the power system, consisting of a small reactor, multiple batteries, emergency battery and back up hydrogen engine from the engineer's station. They also have control over the H2O generators, gyroscope banks, gravity generator, jump drive recharge, antennas, beacon, ore detector and other systems from their station.

The pilot primarily has two controls, landing gear locks, turning the thrusters on and off, and throttling the bottom thrusters for leaving atmo. Secondary systems are the spot lights and perimeter lights. The co-pilot, if available, monitors flight information, lights and controls the jump drives.

Yea ain't going to touch that hot potato. Dig around enough on the ship and you'll eventually lose your mind. To get access to maintenance you have to unlock the doors from the engineer's panel.

The red buttons near the pilot and engineer station are for "emergency only" parachute just in case you inadvertently start to lawn dart yourself into a planet.

The Swordfish comes with a small lift. Only use the designated blue and red controls in the lift room. There's also remote lift controls on the bridge near the door. The red, blinking lights are the lift/hold open indicators. There's also a small hanger.

If you come within 50m of something a sound will play and a yellow light will start blinking near the pilot.
