Lenny Lane

Lenny Lane, former WCW Cruiserweight Champion, made his wrestling debut in 1997 as Lane Carlson.

After working for a bit as an enhancement talent, he starting climbing up the card initially as Chris Jericho's lackey.

In 1999, Lane began teaming up with Lodi as the West Hollywood Blondes, a team that appeared to be in a romantic relationship but were later revealed to be brothers.

Lane shocked the world when he won the WCW Cruiserweight Title from Rey Mysterio on an episode of Thunder that year, and he held the title for almost two months bere dropping the belt to Disco Inferno.

Following protests from GLAAD, Lane and Lodi dropped their West Hollywood Blondes gimmick and returned as Standards and Practices, a gimmick similar to the WWF's Right To Censor. The gimmick was short-lived, and the two became the hard rocking 2XS.

Lane was released in 2000 before moving to the indies. He has been mostly retired since the early 2010's.
