Maxx Payne

Maxx Payne wrestled in WCW from 1993-1994, initially as a heel. Payne was known for bringing his electric guitar with him to the ring and playing it before matches.

During his heel run, Payne blasted Johnny B. Badd with a confetti gun, scarring him and forcing him to wear a mask for a short time.

After turning face in late 1993, he formed a tag team with Cactus Jack and nearly won the WCW World Tag Team Championships off the Nasty Boys.

Payne reportedly grew tired of stiff work out of the Nasty Boys and during a match at SuperBrawl, fell awkwardly with Brian Knobbs and broke Knobbs' shoulder. Payne fell swiftly down the card and signed with the WWF almost immediately after being released from WCW.
