*NOTE* This version of the map comes pre-mounted with CS:S textures, meaning you will be able to play on any server running this version of Rockford even if you do not own the game, without running into any missing textures!

Massive thank you to Statua, the original creator of this map, and thank you for providing the VMF of your maps to the public! In this iteration of Rockford you will not find a whole lot different from the original version, this was intended to be a better optimized version of the original map that may be used by other server owners.

Rockford is a City RP map based in Oregon USA, that includes downtown, uptown, industrial, residential, and outskirts elements for the full city experience. With lots of roadways, there's plenty of space for driving. With 6 suburban homes, 1 country home, 2 beachside cabins, 12 2br apartments, and 6 'affordable' apartments, there's also enough space for everyone to have a home. Here's some of what this map includes: Hospital, Emergency Services Building, Police Station w/ jail, Night Club, Pub, Taco Bell, Cinema, Strip Mall, Beach, Forest Trails, And so much more....

This map iteration will feature a different time of day . I had changed around the lighting environment and skybox to reflect that of a star-lit night sky in such a way that players do not suffer any visibility issues. The ZClip plane was reduced and a heavier fog was introduced to the 3d skybox.

Given that Statua no longer appears to be active within the GMod mapping community, I will be more than happy to take requests moving forward to the next iteration of this map!
