International Orange GP9B

(Requires the GP9B Template by Valkyrie Lead).

For whatever reason I got the idea to paint the GP9B in International Orange too. As with the GP9RM, this one carries the number of a real-life locomotive.

GP9B No. 303B was built for the Union Pacific Railroad in 1957, entering service in September of that year. The GP9B is the cabless ‘booster’ variant of the standard GP9, and - curiously - was only ordered by the Union Pacific and Pennsylvania Railroads.

Union Pacific’s 303B remained in service until May 1979, when she was retired. The locomotive is assumed scrapped.
