TNO Italy Submod

What is this submod?
This submod is one of a humble character designed to complete and iterate upon existing mechanics present within The New Order’s Italian content. This submod does not intend to revise or otherwise override the design decisions made by the TNO team. Hopefully, most of the mod will become obsolete and unnecessary upon the release of Penelope’s Web.

What are the current features?
• A completed Diplomatic GUI map that shows off all your friends in the Mediterranean and the Balkans.
• Ability to involve Greece in your war with Turkey and allow them the opportunity to regain Western Thrace with their own ability. You’re definitely not just treating them as cannon fodder since even Scorza will help them secure their territory should they prove their martial prowess.
• Various bug fixes for problems that, since release of TNO, have been ignored for lack of significance.
• Completed and expanded influence system with Greece no longer just disappearing from the game entirely upon resolution of the Greek crisis in any way other than a Scorza invasion. Pressing and unpressing influence buttons now do something as long as you give it 20 weeks to work its magic. NOTE: The long war against the influence system not actually doing anything has been restarted due to new discoveries of German sabotage in the Italian code. The Algerian and Greek crisis resolutions will still have different influence outcomes, but independent promotion of Italian influence is currently inoperable until I get help from the TNO team or I come up with a big-brained idea.

What are some future features?
• An expanded Diplomatic GUI that will give you, the player, the opportunity to influence states like Bosnia, Algeria, Yemen, and the post-colonial states.
• A repurposing of the ENI and Goering reaction systems to make an amalgam Italian Economic Influence system akin to the Zollverein or Grossraum Kontinentaleuropa.
• Enabling the deprecated colonial management focus tree to fill in the gap of the Malta conference. If it’s not too hard to do, that is.
• A megaproject like the Great Man-made River or a Battle for Water that will flex Italy’s superiority over Iberia.
• Actually, the mod will probably be deleted if the TNO team just fixes all the Italy issues in the last CRF patch or in Penelope’s Web since their solutions would be infinitely better than mine.

As a note: This is currently not compatible with the latest version of TNO, so please hold off on playing until I can resume development. Some of my ideas have been implemented into TNO, so I'll have to see what is redundant before I update once more. Thank you for your patience.
