Thematic UI For New World Factions

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
This mod brings WH2 races up to par with WH1 races faction specific UI elements, seen in the pre/post battle screens as well as the background of screens in the campaign.

Before the WH2 factions got black backgrounds and generic stone borders, now there is context and flavor! (Lizardmen in this case got obsidian stone texture but for them it fits!)

This talented man right here ---> https://www.artstation.com/jad did the heavy work with 5/6 races, I handled the Vampire Coast myself. Check out his work!

Numerous adjustments had to be made for the flag texture of the Elf factions so if you see any 'seams' or squaring, this is unavoidable.

It's in progress. Recently found out a way to do it. Working on art assets for all the WH3 races.

@GunKing Of course, I am not even surprised, CA patches the game and instead of fixing issues, these "updates" add new bugs and break mods. No wonder the playerbase is literally rioting as we type these comments lol

Well bad news man... I just tried to port over those WH2 skins to WH3, using the same file directory... and no go. Didn't work. Come to find out, CA has deleted the folder that had the UI specific skins for the WH1 races, so I don't even know where to go from here. It is highly doubtful this mod will be ported, would also maybe explain why similar mods from WH2 haven't made it over.

Oh wow that is a beautiful mod. Yes in general doing the borders in particular is somewhat more difficult.

Recently I found out this mod: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2851836469

The author was able to cover a lot of background, but ironically he didn't created art for the army panels just like you did here. Seems like this specific kind of art is more complicated to mod in Warhammer "3"
